Class Visits to the Library

Homework Alert

Unfortunately, children often forget the parameters of a homework assignment and do not remember to bring handouts or other notes to the library.

Submitting your assignment to the Santa Monica Public Library assists us in serving the needs of your students by allowing Youth Services and Reference Librarians to be aware of upcoming assignments and related requirements.

Classroom Books

Reading Lists

We will gladly post reading lists from any Santa Monica school. Contact Donnae at 310.458.8621 for further information.

Databases

The Santa Monica Public Library purchases many databases useful to students. These resources include access to magazines, newspapers, biographies, literature and criticism, science, history and social studies.

Local History Collection
Thousands of historic photographs of Santa Monica are available online at the Santa Monica Public Library's Image Archives.
