The assignments you submit are also considered when the library purchases materials such as books, DVDs or databases.

We do not post your assignment in a place accessible to anyone outside of the Santa Monica Public Library staff, your information is for internal staff use only.

Note: If you post your assignments on the internet, please let us know on the form below. Please include any user identification or passwords the librarian may need to know in order to access your assignments. Again this information is used only by the Youth Services and Reference staff, it is not displayed in a public place.

In your assignment description, please include any materials or formats you do or do not want your students to use to complete the assignment. For example some teachers do not want students to use the internet for assignments, but do allow students to use the vetted databases available through the library.
