A “Read for the Record” Event

The Read for the Record sponsors, Jumpstart, were presented with a certificate from Guinness World Records for setting the record for the most children reading with an adult. There were well over 1200 events scheduled around the country, and as of early September the unofficial count was over 150,000 participants! Families are invited to join us and thousands of
children across America as we read The Little Engine That Could and set a world record for the number of children reading the same book in a single day with an adult!
