In the Explore the Topic Tree! page, click on Current Events.

SIRS Discoverer

To access SIRS: Discoverer from home or at the Santa Monica Public Library:

Go to the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School Districts SMILENet page and click on SIRS Discoverer.

Type your login information into the Customer # and Password fields and click the Login button.

Note: If you do not know your Customer Number or Password, talk to your teacher or school media specialist.

On the SIRS Discoverer on the Web page, click Current Events.

The Current Events page opens. Click on the title of any article that interests you to read more. Articles with a camara icon in the title line also include related photographs.
